Public Emergency Notification System

In an effort to reach more citizens during an emergency, Park County now uses the CodeRED Emergency Notification System. With this system, Park County residents now have the ability to supply an unlisted number, their cell phone number, VoIP, or any other secondary phone numbers to be notified on during an emergency.

If you would like to be notified in an emergency, sign up through CodeRED. Simply fill in your contact information and address and the information will be sent to the Park County 911 Communications and Dispatch. Should you have any questions about CodeRED, please call the Park County dispatch at (719) 836-4115

Fire Ban Lifted

Due to recent rain and snow, the burn ban for the Platte Canyon Fire Protection District has been lifted. Always call in your burn permit before lighting a fire. If you need a burn permit, forms are available during business hours at Platte Canyon station 2 on Crow Hill.
