Mission Statement and Program Emphasis
The Mission of Platte Canyon Fire Crew is to fulfill the local and national duties of a Type 2 Initial Attack Crew by providing a safe, professional, organized, and skilled resource for wild land fire suppression, fuels mitigation, and all-risk incidents. We are committed to providing our services to the community in a professional and respectful manner. Through teamwork, safety, a hard work ethic, and adherence to our core values (respect, duty, and integrity), we will overcome the challenges that arise as we fulfill our responsibility to community and protection district.
